In 1982, Tom Peters and Robert Waterman co-authored a book, In Search of Excellence, which very quickly become an international bestseller entitled. It is based on a study of the largest companies in America at the time and brings the idea that the best way was to solve business problems, ditch the theory and empower employees to decision makers.
Since then, Mr. Peters has 12 pounds (which he also wrote with author Martha Barletta) and is running a successful business consultancy. www.tompeters.co.uk
